Advance voting for the municipal elections in the Faroe Islands on 12 November 2024
The municipal elections in the Faroe Islands will take place on 12 November, 2024.
Faroese voters abroad can vote at any Danish mission. Book appointment to vote at the Royal Danish Embassy in Riyadh on [email protected].
Votes can be cast from Friday 12 July, 2024. Votes should be cast well in advance of the election in order to arrive in the Faroe Islands before the Election Day on Tuesday 12 November, 2024.
The Embassy’s processing time in visa cases is currently 15 days (updated on 30 September 2024).
Please be aware that the mission is working hard on bringing down the processing time for all applications and is aware of the inconvenience this may have. Also please note that business applications are prioritized. Please make sure you secure a time slot at VFS Global to submit your application as soon as possible.
